This amazing little beach town, Samara, is on the Nicoya peninsula and the village is famous for its incredibly cosy atmosphere and beautiful beach.

In the middle of the long beach, the village of Samara is located, and here the beach is lined by wonderful restaurants. Here you can mix lazy days in the sun with surfing and fishing.

The over four kilometres long sandy beach is lined by cosy beach bars and restaurants. Daytime the beach is filled with sun seekers, surfers or swimming enthusiasts. In the afternoon the locals gather to play football on the beach while the less athletically inclined watch the sublime sunset.

Relaxed atmosphere

There is a very relaxed atmosphere in Samara and the selection of restaurants is very big considering the size of the town. Here you will find everything from Argentinian steaks to flavours from Thailand and the nightlife can also offer something for everyone.

During your visit in Samara there are possibilities of making many excursions but above all the fishing in this region is very good, and we can both go deep sea fishing and near-shore-fishing with popper and jig here.
