Our trip with was a delightful experience with a lot of activities. We started in the mountains with rainforest and exciting jungle, where we got to experience suspension bridges, ziplines, hummingbirds and butterfly park in Selvatura Park. From the active volcano Arenal, there were many hot springs that we took the opportunity to enjoy. Equipped with flashlights we were out on night hike in the jungle and got to see both snakes, frogs and sloths etc. Then we moved down to the Pacific Ocean for sun and bath, but also deep-sea fishing, where I got my much-anticipated Sailfish after a full day at the sea. We moved a few miles south to Santa Teresa, a popular surfing beach. We stayed in a bungalow right by the sea, wonderful! There we were out three days with sea kayaks and fished and got some really nice fish, the guys who ran the fishing camp really did their best to make us feel comfortable at the camp. At the end they filed a Baracuda and a Mackerel which we brought to a restaurant (Red Snapper) which made a fantastic fish dinner for the evening.
