Sail on the Pacific Ocean and watch the sunset while dolphins play in the water by the catamaran. On the way out towards the sea you can sunbathe on the very spacious deck of the catamaran. If you think the sun is too hot, the sail will usually provide some shade and there are seats under a roof towards the rear.
Drinks are free for the whole trip and if you are over 18 the bar is also free the whole time. Often dolphins will come join us on our journey and if we’re really lucky we might get to see a humpback whale.
The captain will lay anchor in a cosy little lagoon where those who want to can hop in the water for a swim or borrow snorkelling equipment for an amazing experience under the water surface with a snorkelling guide.
When everyone is done with the water, a lighter meal is served on the catamaran and once everyone is full and happy, we sail on. Sailing towards land again is amazing and the sun is setting behind us. We reach the shore just as the sun disappears on the horizon.
This excursion can be made from Flamingo, Tamarindo, Manuel Antonio and Jaco all year round. You can also rent catamarans privately if you are a larger group, for both full- and half days.
